A 2023 graduate, Jocelyn Trapp has explored and conducted projects ranging from electrospinning smart fabrics to synthesizing novel hydroscopic gels. With a strong background in polymers and experimental design, she helps develop and refine processes aimed at providing novel medical materials. Jocelyn earned her BS in Chemical Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Driven by an innate desire to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications, she completed an internship with VCU’s School of Pharmaceutical Engineering, and also contributed as an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Christina Tang’s nanomaterials lab.
